- Groups are flexible environments to house a learning community. A group is a private space where you can invite people to participate in learning, share insights and build community.
- Team is a subset of people within a group, who are all encouraged to give feedback and support each other.
- Courses: this is the main feature for all core learning experience types: programs, trainings, workshops, projects, sessions, etc.
- Course Sections are like folders, holding as many steps, exercises, or activities as your heart desires.
- Course Steps are the individual containers for course material. This can include exercises, practices, activities, or simple reflections. Steps are modular and flexible.

- Course Templates: after you create your desired course, you may want to use it to create and update new courses. Course Templates let you do that.

- Site, Groups & Teams
- Site Admin can manage all aspects of the entire site, including billing, assignment, and any editing feature for courses, groups, forms, coupons, and memberships (when memberships are enabled).
- Group Admin has full editing and assignment privileges for a group and all courses and forms in the group. They can host live events and message the entire group at once with group messaging.
- Group Creator: ability to create (and edit) the courses that they create in any given group. (Note: This role can also lead live events, see participant responses and give feedback only for courses they have either created or have been invited as an editor or instructor.)
- Group Member: access to the group, any public courses and resources in the group, and the group learning activity stream. They can also message anyone in the group (but not the entire group at once).
- Team Member: access to the team dashboard, ability to message the entire team, and view the team page and team learning activity stream.

- Editor: full editing, assignment, Zoom hosting, dashboard view & feedback privileges for a course.
- Instructor: lead live events, assign/invite participants and supporters, see participant responses and give feedback on courses with this role.
- Supporter: a participant, editor, or instructor can add one or more supporters for that participant, to any course. Supporters/mentors can view and comment only on their mentees' responses.
- Auto-Supporter: is added as a 'supporter' to all course responses, and can comment on them (without any editing or assignment privileges on the course). This can be utilized for instructors that do not need editing or assignment privileges.
- Participants can view and take courses.
- Site, Groups & Teams

Work Journal is currently called 'Engagement' on your sites. The Work Journal documents all engagement for any participant in your group or community. The Work Journal dashboard found in your group dropdown menu shows a searchable and filterable grouping of the participants in any given group.

People is one of the main menu options on your left-nav bar that shows all of the people in your group. It is intended for people to be able to learn more about each other (before, during, and after their projects or in-person events).

Live Events: is a unique feature, enabling instructors, mentors, and administrators to hold live video sessions within the platform.
