Update a variety of settings for each learning group

Easily brand any group using Group Settings. Select ‘Group Settings’ from the group admin menu. From Group Settings, the following categories can be updated, depending on the subscription plan:

THE BASICS

  1. Update Group Name

  2. Update Group Privacy Settings - 'secret' groups can only be joined with an email invite

  3. Update Custom URL for the group

  4. Add a Support Email - this is an important feature that allows for learners to click the 'Help' button in their group, and it will send an email to this email address for any questions regarding the courses, content, or general questions for this particular group. Note: by default, the support email value is inherited from Site Settings. You can remove that site support email in order to have a separate group support email address.

  5. Feature Toggles

    1. Choose whether people must be approved once invited

    2. Get notified when someone joins the group

    3. Inherited settings from the site level enable a site admin to choose branding settings that can then cascade automatically down to a group that selects this option

  6. Click the save button to complete updates

LOGO

  1. Update the main logo for the group. Note, the 'inherited' tag will show if the logo is being inherited from site settings, as shared above.

  2. Click the save button to complete any updates

COLORS

  1. Update the colors for the entire group staring with a color palette that can easily be used for other branding colors in the settings below

  2. Update the group colors, also called 'site wide colors'

  3. Update the course sections color selection

  4. Click Save to complete any updates

REGISTRATION FORM

  1. Leverage a group registration form to collect important data about group participants.

    1. Forms can be created using the form builder, and then selected from a drop-down here.

  2. Click save to finalize the form selection.

    1. This form will automatically be included in any new users onboarding process to the group once they create an account on the platform.

CUSTOM FEATURE NAMES

  1. Leverage this unique ability to rename features and other interface elements to whatever names are desired. The full list can be seen in the graphic below.

    1. Note: This feature is not available in the Team Scrappy or Team of One plans.

  2. Always remember to click 'save' to finalize any changes to these values.

PUBLIC PAGE SETTINGS

The platform seamlessly integrates unique logos and colors into any public group page.

  1. Upload a cover image and change it's position and size

  2. Add a page title and subtitle to be seen on the page itself

  3. Add a 'return to website' URL to redirect learners to any website URL that is desired.

  4. Please always click 'save' to finalize any changes and updates
