Overview

A group is a private space where you can invite people to participate in learning, share insights and build community. Groups are flexible environments to host your learners. They are designed to house themed content and to be flexible for the needs of admins, creators, instructors, and participants.

Each group can have a unique set of courses and resources designed specifically for any grouping of learners that is desired. Companies can create different groups for different departments, teams, or different areas of focus, for instance. Or groups can be setup for each of your clients.

Structurally, it is easy to create a group (as seen in this article) and manage the group settings (as shown below). As always, we encourage you to experiment to find out what best suits your needs.

Accessing Group Settings

There are 2 areas to access group settings, depending on your plan.

  • All admins have access to group settings from the left main menu bar.

  • Click the group logo/name to open the drop-down menu

  • Click 'Group Settings'

  • Team Growth and Scale plans have access to a 'site settings' page with additional functionality, including accessing all groups (and their settings) in one place.
