How to use the Resources feature

Creating and accessing stand alone resources in learning groups

Overview

For plans that include 'Resources' as a feature, admins can add and manage a range of resource types for the participants to access, all in one location.

Utilizing Resources + Types

To view the resource bank, select ‘Resources' from the left-nav. To add any resource, click the '+ Add an item' button on the top right corner. Types that can be added and therefore searched by type include:

  1. Video

  2. Audio

  3. Image

  4. PDF

  5. Text

  6. Website


Note: Resources are currently available with certain plans (Enterprise and when added A La Carte). Here's how to see your plan.

Managing Resources

Once created, a resource can be edited. To do so:

  1. Click the title of the resource

  2. Then click the 'Edit' button

From there the following things can be edited

  1. Title

  2. The item itself can be updated

  3. Description

  4. Tags

  5. You can also delete the item at the bottom of the resource

Mirror Content from a Course

Add or remove media to 'Resources' from within a course.

  1. Identify the piece of content you want to add within any course step

  2. Click the 'hard drive' icon to automatically mirror it in 'Resources'.

    1. To remove a course resource from the Resource Bank, click that hard drive icon again.

Learner Features

It is easy to search by keyword, and filter by tags and/or types.

Resource Comments and Ratings

Learners can also provide feedback by marking resources as useful, not useful or making a comment at the bottom of any resource from a learner/participant view.
