Overview

The learner view has been redesigned for simplicity, focus and ease of use. The core features and their functionality are described below.

Course Name

The course name is displayed in the upper left-hand corner of the page.

Useful Quick Actions

Above the Sections and Steps are four hotlinks:

  • Events

  • Resources

  • Dashboard

  • My Activity Page

Progress Circle

Located to the right of the hotlinks, the progress circle visually indicates the percentage of the course a learner has completed, helping them track their progress at a glance.

Sections and Steps

As learners complete all of the steps in a section, the rounded square icon will show how far they have progressed. Once completed, a checkmark appears.

Completing Steps

Step completion can vary based on the course design:

  • Auto-Completion: These steps automatically navigate the learner to the next step when they complete an interactive block (such as a form).

  • Manual Completion: These require the learner to click the 'Next' button at the bottom of the page to proceed. The 'Previous' button at the top of the page allows learners to return to the previous step if needed.

Complete Course

Once all required steps are completed, learners can click the 'Complete Course' button to mark the course as complete, even if they choose to skip optional steps. If the 'Automatically mark participant responses as completed when they complete all required steps' feature is enabled, their course response will automatically be completed once they have completed all required steps.

Instructors and admins are also able to mark any completed course response as incomplete by clicking 'Mark Course Incomplete'.
