Learn how to share courses by inviting (assigning) people

Overview

You can invite learners to your individual courses in several ways. The course invites functionality can be accessed from different areas including:

  • The Share quick action on the Homepage

  • The Share tab on the course edit page

Invite/Share Quick Action in Home Dashboard

To access the 'share' quick action:

  1. Hover over any course on Homepage.

  2. Click the 'people +' icon to enter the share modal

Share Tab on Course Edit Page

Course admins can click on the 'Share' tab while on the course edit page.

  • Add people to the 'Add People' field by typing the current users names, or by adding email addresses.

Invite with a Course Link

A course link can be quickly accessed to share anywhere desired.

  • Within the Global Assign, click the 'link' icon as shown below.

  • Then click the 'Copy' icon to copy the link.

  • Use that link on a website or to share via email or other means.

  • The course 'Public Page' must be enabled for the course link to work.

  • With this link share option, each participant will have to securely confirm their identity by accepting the invite via email confirmation.

Global Assign Page

Course admins can select the "Assign" option from the left navigation. This redirects to the Global Assign page, where they can select the desired course (or other objects: groups, forms, teams) from the "Assign People To" drop-down menu.

    • Only available on Team Growth and Scale plans and A La Carte.

Note: For CSV bulk uploads please use the Global Assign feature as well.
