Each course in Dream See Do has steps. These steps are the containers for course activities, exercises, and assignments. Some steps are 'required' and others are 'optional'. If you try to skip a required step, you will see a message asking you to complete a previous (required) step before moving on to this (or any future steps).
To complete a step, select the first step without a checkmark. Read, listen, or watch the step content, and then complete the step with its designated response type. There are several response types and you only need to select one type to complete the step. Once you choose a step type and 'post it', the step will be complete. The completion message will show at the top of the content area, and the step will have a checkmark next to it. The next step will automatically appear. As you go through your course, you can see which steps have been completed by the 'check mark' located next to the step.
