Features of the Responses Dashboard

Overview of Progress

The dashboard displays a visual overview of all course responses that are completed, in progress, not started or pending invite. Click on any progress status (such as completed, or in-progress) to filter the responses.

Managing Participants

Participants are listed horizontally, with sorting options that prioritize the most complete profiles. Each participant's avatar, name, and email are displayed alongside their progress percentage, represented as a clickable button. Clicking on a participant's picture or name opens a detailed view of all their responses.

Filtering Options

  • Filter Content: Filter by content block type (such as Prompt or Video), once selected the dash will reveal all section and steps that have this content type for immediate review.

  • Participant Search: Searching (and thereby filtering) by participant name or email is available.

  • Sorting: Options include sorting by completion status or by the recency of participation.

Note about sorting by teams:

  • Teams: If teams are enabled (available in Team of Scale plan or A La Carte), responses can be filtered by team.

Reporting and Analytics

Admins can click the "Download" button to retrieve a CSV report summarizing learner responses, enabling detailed analysis and record-keeping.

Navigation through Sections and Steps

Sections and steps are presented vertically with detailed indicators such as:

  • Sections: Section are represented by rounded squares

    • As the rounded squares are filled, they indicate progress through the section (which in turn represents how many steps in that section are being completed).

    • A rounded square with a check box indicates completion of all the steps in that section.

    • Any rounded square with a green border means that the learner received support throughout that section via comments from managers, coaches or peers (this depends on how the course is configured).

      • The darker green, the more support.

    • Click the chevron icon toward the left side, to expand the section and reveal steps.

    • Hover on the row, and click the 'Responses' button on the left to see all of the responses in that section in the windowpane on the right.

  • Steps: Steps are represented by circles.

    • Similar to sections, a circle with a checkmark indicates completion.

      • Steps with green borders indicate a learner received supportive comments in that step.

  • Steps that have interactive blocks are expandable for detailed insights with the chevron icon, like this prompt block below with a '?' icon to indicate a prompt block was utilized.

    • Responses to that block are viewable by clicking the 'Responses' button that will open the responses windowpane on the right.
