As a Course Editor I Cannot Add a Google Doc to a Course Step

Admins/course editors may run into a couple of issues when adding Google Docs as content to their courses:

1. Error 400: redirect_uri_mismatch is an authorization error that pops up if the domain for the admin's group has not been whitelisted in Dream See Do's system:

To resolve this error you need to reach out to Dream See Do's technical support team (support@dreamseedo.org) and share a screenshot of the error message. As soon as our engineering team whitelists your group domain, you will get a notification from our support team. 

2. We couldn't link to your Google Drive, please try again is an error that is displayed if a user's web browser is set to block third-party cookies (the third party in this case is Google Drive).

To fix this issue you need to go to your browser settings and allow third-party cookies:

• Chrome
  1. On your computer, open Chrome
  2. At the top right, click More  "Settings"
  3. Under "Privacy and security," click "Cookies and other site data"
  4. Select one of these two options:
     • “Allow all cookies”
     • "Block third-party cookies in Incognito" (recommended)
• Safari 
  1. Choose Safari > Preferences, click "Privacy"
  2. Cookies and website data: deselect “Block all cookies"

• Microsoft Edge

  1. Open Microsoft Edge, select "Menu" (3 dots icon on top right corner of the browser) > Settings > Site permissions > Cookies and site data

  2. Turn on "Allow sites to save and read cookie data (recommended)" to unblock cookies
