Dream See Do allows group admins to update their group and course sign up notifications. Course editors can also update course notifications for any course for which they have editing privileges. Enabling these notifications gives you the ability to track group and course participant sign ups, as you get an alert every time a new member joins your group or course.
Updating Group Sign Up Notifications
Step 1: To update your group sign up notifications, click on your group in the upper left hand side of the site (when logged in) and select ‘GROUP SETTINGS’ from the menu.
Step 2: In the group settings page, scroll down to the ‘Notify group admins checkbox and click it to be notified whenever someone joins the group’ (See illustration below).
Step 3: Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on save to finalize your changes.
Updating Course Sign Up Notifications
To receive an alert each time there is a new course sign up follow these instructions:
Step 1: Access the course builder for any course. One way is to hover over a course and click the ‘Edit Course’ hotlink (Gear icon) on the right of the course.
Step 2: On the ‘Edit Course’ page, click on the ‘Publish’ tab just below the top menu bar.
Step 3: Under ‘Participant Settings’, check the box to ‘Notify course editors when someone starts the course’. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click ‘Save’ to submit your changes.
