How do I create a Quiz?

Overview

Create stimulating quizzes within courses or as one-offs by following these simple steps.

First Steps

To create quizzes, navigate to the Forms tab on the Builder page. Click +Create New Form. You can create quizzes from scratch or with the help of our AI learning designer, Saige.

Create Quiz From Scratch

1. Enter Quiz Name: Start by entering the name of the quiz and select quiz as the form type. The quiz template will then display.
2. Edit Basics: Add an introduction and a completion message.
3. Set Privacy and Display Options: Choose privacy settings and decide if correct answers will be shown upon quiz completion.
4. Retakes: In the Customize tab, decide if quiz takers can retake the quiz and set the number of allowed retakes.
   
   

Quiz Question Types

Select from a variety of field types, including:

• Text
• Multiple-choice
• Yes/No
• Number
• Date
• Email

Mark Essential Questions as Required

Ensure all essential questions are marked as required so learners cannot complete the quiz without answering them.

Creating Questions and Answers

1. Type the Question: Enter the quiz question.
2. Create Answer Options: For multiple-choice questions, specify the correct answer(s). If there are multiple correct answers, deselect the box limiting to one, and select all the correct answers.
   

   

Viewing and Completing the Quiz

• View Live Form: Click Take Quiz to preview the quiz.

• Completion: Upon completion, correct and incorrect answers will be highlighted. A score will display at the top, and learners will have the option to print their results.
