One unique feature of the platform is that you can record Videos in multiple areas to suit a multitude of needs. You can also upload existing videos or quickly insert video URL's from sites like YouTube, Vimeo and TED. Instructors and Admins, for example, can record, upload or insert introduction videos for their courses.
TIP: For large video files we recommend that you use your YouTube or Vimeo channel to house large videos and then use our simple embed function to load them to the platform.
As seen in the first screenshot below, this feature can be found in the 'Customize Tab' in the course builder. The second screenshot shows how you can replace or remove a video once placed. Intro videos can be seen in 2 distinct areas once recorded: the marketing page and as the first thing that participants see once they start a course. Course editors can also record videos for any step in a course.
TIP: We recommend that you test a short video snippet on your web or mobile app before recording anything of length. Also, if your internet speed is not fast, or your have any issues with this test you can record a video outside of the apps and easily upload them using the same tool.
