Overview
After creating a course, you may want to use it to create new versions or 'Clones' of that course. This process is called 'cloning'. With just a couple of clicks, course cloning will copy the selected course and create a new course with ALL of the same elements, content, and settings. You can also copy/clone course steps.
Cloning Options
There are two ways to clone (or duplicate) an entire course:
Go to the 'Course Settings' tab in any course.
Click the 'Clone Course' Button.
Rename the course.
Choose which group the course should be in (if you have more than one learning group).
Select which instructors, admins or other roles to keep for the clone.
When all selections are made, click the 'Clone Course' button at the bottom of the modal.
You will be taken to that new course to edit and refine (no changes have been made to the original course).

Note: Once the course is cloned, you can change the group that it is published, by going back to the 'Settings' tab in the course editor.
